This morning, enjoy breakfast before departing Zimbabwe and heading across the border into Botswana. Your destination: the spectacular Chobe National Park, home to Africa’s largest concentration of elephants. Arrive at Jackalberry Chobe, a luxury tented lodge nestled near the park. After a delicious lunch and some downtime, set out on your first afternoon game drive, searching for lions, leopards, buffalo, and, of course, herds of elephants. You’ll transfer to Kasane Airport for a scenic charter flight into the heart of the Okavango Delta—an aerial view of this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a breathtaking experience in itself. Upon landing at the airstrip, a short transfer brings you to Kadizora Camp, a luxurious tented retreat surrounded by the untouched wilderness of the Delta. After lunch and settling in, head out for an evening game drive, where you may encounter lions, hyenas, or nocturnal creatures just starting their nightly hunt. Today is all about soaking in the unique beauty of the Delta. You’ll enjoy both morning and evening game drives, venturing deep into this wildlife-rich ecosystem. Depending on the water levels, you may also have the chance to glide silently through narrow channels in a mokoro canoe, a traditional dugout used by local guides. Fishing is also an option (seasonal), and bird lovers will delight in the diversity of species in this lush paradise.
